Recruitment Quotas – Pakistan Railways Multan 2026
1. Open Merit: 60%
2. Son of Railway Employees: 20% (including 2% children of deceased Railway employees who died during active service)
3. Ex-Serviceman: 10%
4. Orphan / Destitute: 5% (death certificate of father from NADRA is mandatory)
5. Minorities (Non-Muslim): 5%
Note: Disabled and Women are not eligible for above categories.
Age Limits – Pakistan Railways Jobs 2026
1. General: 18 to 25 years + 05 years General relaxation up to 30.06.2026
2. Ex-Serviceman: Upper age limit relaxable to the extent of service rendered in Armed Forces or 15 years in addition to general relaxation, whichever is less
3. Scheduled Castes/Buddhist Community: Age relaxed by 03 years in addition to general relaxation
4. Government Servants: Age relaxed by 10 years if completed 02 years continuous service on closing date
5. Son of Deceased Civil Servant: Age relaxed by 05 years in addition to general relaxation
Eligibility & Important Conditions
1. Railway Employees Quota: Only sons of Railway employees eligible. Affidavit required that no other child has availed facility.
2. Ineligible: Candidates convicted of moral turpitude or dismissed by Govt departments will not be considered.
3. Vacancies: Can be decreased/increased. Recruitment process can be terminated at any time without assigning reason.
4. Jurisdiction: Only candidates from districts under Pakistan Railways Multan Division can apply.

b. CNIC
c. Domicile
d. Character Certificate
e. Discharge Certificate (for Ex-Serviceman)
f. 03 passport size photographs
g. Relationship certificate (for Son of Railway Employee)
h. Four postal envelopes with complete address and active mobile number
Submission of Application – Pakistan Railways Multan
1. Postal Order: For each category attach postal order worth Rs. 550/- in name of Divisional Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways Multan. No application accepted without postal order.
2. Postal Order Details: Postal order number and date must be mentioned on Bio data/application.
3. Address: Send through registered dak to: Assistant Personnel Officer (C.R Section), Divisional Superintendent Office, Pakistan Railways Multan
4. Last Date: 30.06.2026. No application received by hand.
5. Envelope: Category applied for must be mentioned on envelope. Separate envelope for each category.
6. NOC: Government servants should apply through proper channel with NOC. Ex-servicemen must attach discharge book.
7. No TA/DA: No travelling allowance for running test or interview.
Selection Process
1. Running Test: All eligible candidates will be called for running test.
2. Interview: Only short-listed candidates after running test will be called for interview.
3. Medical: Selected candidates must clear medical examination by Divisional Medical Officer and security clearance.
4. Training: Successful candidates will undergo specified practical training.
